Data retention

Publish what remains. Invent no period.

This page states the current implementation boundary and approval status. Proposed engineering periods are not legal approval or a promise to users.

1. Approval status

An internal engineering baseline identifies data classes, but it is not a final retention schedule approved for every market. No final period has yet been approved or published for counterparty messages, closed conversation/match metadata, block records created by the other member, verification-attempt records linked to a moderation case or decision, safety and moderation records, or the minimal security deletion tombstone.

When the schedule is approved, Ahdna will publish an effective version and date and connect each category to its retention trigger, basis, processor deletion, backups, and restore handling.

2. What account deletion does now

The current path removes the profile, preferences, current verification check and consent records, non-shared interests and suggestions, invitations, support records, block records created by the deleting member, and every message row and body authored by that member. The atomic production path also removes the associated Supabase Auth identity.

It does not delete messages authored by the other member. The shared match and conversation are closed while the counterparty's messages and closed relationship metadata remain. Block records created by the other member and verification-attempt records linked to a moderation case or decision also remain. A minimal security tombstone, safety reports, and moderation decisions and audit history remain under the implemented access controls. See Account deletion and the Privacy Notice.

3. No unapproved period

Ahdna does not present a final numeric period for the retained categories above before approval. Any period marked “proposed” in an engineering document remains an operating assumption for review, not an effective legal policy or a published deletion promise.

4. Public-launch gate

Public production launch remains closed until the schedule is approved for the relevant categories and markets, its effective version is published, and processor deletion, backup ageing, and restore handling are verified. Public information pages being available does not mean registration is open or that this gate is complete.
